Offsite volunteer opportunities give community members the flexibility to make an impact on their own schedules. Offsite opportunities are a great way to get involved with the HHOC mission at home or with a group at your office. See below for ways to get involved with these types of opportunities. Be sure to use the volunteer calendar linked below to schedule a time to deliver meals, care bags, or baked goods.
Dinner Deliveries
Dinner Deliveries is HHOC’s newest volunteer program! This opportunity is great for individuals or groups who are looking to give back from the comfort of their own kitchen. This program allows volunteers to make a meaningful difference by preparing and dropping off casseroles that serve 25 to 30 people. Your generous contributions ensure that our guests can enjoy comforting, homemade meals during a challenging time in their lives.
Details: We invite volunteers to sign up for a Tuesday or Thursday delivery, with drop-offs accepted anytime between 8 AM and 6 PM. These casseroles should provide a complete meal for 25-30 people, not just a side dish, helping to nourish our guests during their stay.
Age restrictions: Volunteers must be 18 years of age.
Please Note: These casseroles will be frozen and baked at a time when we do not have a meal group. Please write on the top of the casserole the date it was prepared and what the casserole is.
